Band leader, bassist, and vocalist. A College of Charleston alumnus with a BA in Arts Management, Jailan leads Lighthouse Band with soulful vocals and expressive bass.
Lighthouse Band is a Charleston-based live music ensemble blending jazz, soul, R&B, blues, gospel, and contemporary pop into a timeless live music experience. Led by bassist and vocalist Jailan Williams, the group creates memorable performances through expressive musicianship, tasteful arrangements, and a passion for connecting with audiences.
Inspired by the belief that a lighthouse provides guidance, hope, and light, the band strives to serve every audience with excellence, authenticity, and hospitality. Rooted in Christian faith and Charleston’s rich musical heritage, Lighthouse Band exists to bring people together and create meaningful moments through music.
